To set up your Ledger device, first connect it to your computer using the USB cable. Then download and install Ledger Live. Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your device, set a PIN code, and write down your 24-word recovery phrase. Finally, install the apps for the cryptocurrencies you want to manage.
If you lose your recovery phrase, you should immediately transfer your assets to a new wallet with a new recovery phrase. Without the recovery phrase, you cannot recover your funds if your device is lost, stolen, or damaged. We strongly recommend storing your recovery phrase in a secure location, like a safe or safety deposit box.
